Our Awesome Team

Meet the creative souls behind the Castle Rock TV Podcast

Skipper Martin

Creator & Host

Four years of scurrying down people’s driveways in the dead of night prepared Skipper for his second career: television post production. Twenty-four years later, he currently does more of the same, as a colorist at Universal Studios in Hollywood. Also, he invented blue. Yep. He’s the guy.

Christopher DeFilippis

Creator & Host

Chris is an award-winning author, journalist and TV producer. When not writing, reading or traveling to awesome places with his awesome wife, he talks. A lot. Sometimes on the radio, sometimes on podcasts. His interests include opera, Science Fiction and drinking martinis at swank hotel bars.

Jon Sheltmire

Jon is a multi-talented composer, singer and songwriter. He’s the creative wonder behind all the original music heard on the CRTV Podcast. When not making Mozart sweat over his legacy, Jon is a marketing whiz and all-around artistic genius. You’d think it’d make him unbearable, but it doesn’t.

Charles Bucci

Graphic Designer

Artist. Adventurer. Inventor. Napper. Never one to run from a fight, Charles once defeated twenty-three pregnant women in a game of King of the Mountain. His artistic influences are Bob Ross, Frank Frazetta, Banksy, Renaissance masters, and pretty much everyone else.

Howard Margolin

For more than a third of a century, Howard has hosted and produced Destinies: The Voice of Science Fiction, one of the nation’s longest-running Science Fiction radio programs. You can hear him work his magic every Friday night at 11:30 p.m. on WUSB FM on Long Island — and streaming worldwide.

Our Patron Saint

The CRTV Podcast wouldn’t exist without Albert Burdge. He got Skipper and Chris on mic together, and the rest is history. Albie is the brains behind Barren Space Productions, where he hosts of The Quantum Leap Podcast and produces several others. But around here we call him Superstar.

BizarRe new world

By Skipper Martin

Bizarre New World is a 278-page graphic novel that follows overweight frump Paul Krutcher as he discovers that he’s the only man in the world to gain the ability to fly … or so he thought.

Paul navigates through all of the perks and pains of being the first flying man, only to discover that he’s not all that special, as the entire world soon follows him into the sky.

What would you do if you could fly? What if everyone could fly?

Welcome to a Bizarre New World.

THE Seeker

By Christopher DeFilippis

A Time Traveler. An Invisible Man. An Ancient Horror.

Billingsly is a Seeker with T.R.U.T.H., a time-traveling collective trying to find the answer humanity’s greatest mystery. Hot on the trail of djinn that could give him the information he’s looking for, Billingsly gets ripped from the time stream, into a nightmarish pocket of reality where he could remain trapped for eternity.

His only hope to find the djinn and finish his mission hinges on Griffin, an invisible thief with his own nebulous agenda.

So the Seeker sets out across the twisted landscape, discovering horrific truth to the old adage, “Be careful what you wish for…”
